Pollock Clinics At The World Vasectomy Day Webinar in June 2022

On June 18th, as part of the WVD Webinar Series and Father’s Day Special, world-renowned Dr. Neil Pollock and Dr. Jack Chang from Pollock Clinics in Vancouver were among the selected international panel of expert vasectomy surgeons presenting at the Nuts and Bolts of Fascial Interposition webinar.

What is World Vasectomy Day?

World Vasectomy Day (WVD) had its start as an annual event to raise global awareness of vasectomy as a male-oriented solution to prevent unintended pregnancies worldwide. Originally it was a single day event whose objective was to increase access to and awareness about vasectomy. Today, the WVD Project is a year-round program that trains doctors, educates the public, and works with public health institutions and Ministries of Health to improve access to vasectomy and men’s sexual health.

WVD Webinar Series and Father’s Day Special June 2022

As part of the training for doctors, WVD organizes lecture series in the form of webinars, led by an international panel of expert doctors in the field of vasectomy and men’s health.

A truly global event, this year’s webinar with the main topic of Fascial Interposition: The Nuts & Bolts, attracted close to 500 people from over 30 countries. It was, by far, the organization’s most popular presentation ever.

During this year’s event, Dr. Pollock and Dr. Chang shared their knowledge as some of the world’s foremost experts in No-Scalpel Vasectomy on how to perform vasectomy with fascial interposition using suture.
